The 2018 Cadillac CT6 Plug-In has 2 recalls, both involving the secure attachment of child seats in the rear seating area.
One recall affects the rear seatbelt retractors, which may not automatically lock when the belt is fully extended, preventing a child safety seat from being cinched down properly. The other involves the built-in lower anchor bars used for LATCH-style child seat installation: excess adhesive on the anchor bars can block a child seat from latching on correctly. In either case, a child seat that is not firmly secured can move in a crash, raising the risk of injury to the child.
