1994 CADILLAC FLEETWOOD Recalls — Canada & USA

The 1994 Cadillac Fleetwood has two recalls, the more serious being loose fuel tank mounting straps that can allow the tank to sag and strike the road surface, potentially rupturing the tank and starting an under-vehicle fire. The second recall involves the accelerator pedal assembly, which can develop excessive friction in cold weather. If a throttle return spring also fails, the engine may not slow down when the driver lifts their foot off the accelerator, leaving the vehicle at an unexpectedly high speed.
