The CFMOTO 450SS has 3 recalls, all affecting the 2023 model year, with the most serious being a loose electronic module that can migrate into the front steering forks and block steering movement, creating an immediate loss of directional control. The brake system also has a recall on 2023 models where seals inside the anti-lock brake pump may not seat correctly, allowing air into the hydraulic circuit and causing the rear brake pedal to feel spongy or fail to slow the motorcycle effectively, extending stopping distances.
