What can fail
The rear brake tube may rub against an underbody crossmember during normal driving and eventually wear through. A perforated tube reduces braking force at the rear wheels, increasing stopping distance.
What the fix does
A rubber isolator will be installed on the brake tube. Vehicles with contact damage and over 75,000 km will have the brake tube replaced with a new tube and isolator.
