The 1993 Dodge Intrepid has 3 recalls, the most serious being a park interlock failure that can let the shifter move out of Park with the key removed, or allow the key to be removed while the transmission is still in gear, leaving the vehicle free to roll away. On 3.3L engine models, seals on the fuel injector rail can deteriorate and allow fuel to leak into the engine compartment, raising the risk of fire if an ignition source is nearby. There is also a front suspension concern: washers on the lower control arm tension strut can crack and fall off, producing a clunking noise during braking and leaving the suspension without proper support.
