The 2014 model also has a rear shock absorber where the damper rod nut can loosen, causing the shock to lose damping ability or come apart, which reduces the rider's ability to control the bike over uneven surfaces. There is also a crankcase pressure system issue where engine oil can migrate into the airbox and, in some cases, leak onto the rear tire, reducing traction and potentially causing a loss of control.
