Recalls 2 and 3 describe the same underlying clutch defect: when the damper plate between the primary driven gear and the clutch basket fails, the engine can seize or stall, and displaced components can lock the rear wheel without warning. Separately, engine oil can enter the airbox through the crankcase pressure system and leak near the rear tire, reducing traction and raising the risk of losing control.
