The 2016-2018 model years share a front brake master cylinder defect with several other Ducati models from that era: the master cylinder can fail and eliminate front braking ability. On 2016 models specifically, the rear wheel may have been incorrectly installed on the hub, leaving the drive pins unengaged. If the pins fail, the rider loses both rear braking and engine power transmission simultaneously.
