5 recalls across 5 model years
The Ducati Supersport has 5 recalls covering 2017 through 2020 model years, with the most serious affecting 2017-2018 models where airbox and fuel tank hoses routed near the exhaust manifold can melt, leak fuel, and start a fire.
The 2017-2020 model years share a rear brake issue where air can work its way into the hydraulic system, reducing braking force and extending stopping distances. On 2017-2019 models, the shift lever knob can detach from the lever, leaving the rider unable to change gears while moving. The 2017-2019 model years also have rearview mirrors that vibrate enough to distort the reflected image, reducing the rider's ability to see traffic behind them.
