The 2018 Ducati Supersport has 4 recalls, the most serious being fuel hoses routed too close to the exhaust manifold that can melt and leak fuel, raising the risk of a fire. On the braking side, air can work its way into the rear brake system, reducing braking force and extending stopping distances. The transmission also has a concern: the shift lever knob may have been incorrectly assembled and can detach, leaving the rider unable to change gears. There is also a visibility issue where mirror vibration can distort the reflected image, making it harder to see what is behind the motorcycle.
