4 recalls across 3 model years
The Ducati Multistrada 1200S has 4 recalls spanning 2010 through 2016, with the most serious affecting 2010 models where the throttle cable can chafe against the radiator edge, causing the throttle to stick open or go unresponsive while riding.
The most recent recall covers 2015-2016 models where the side stand can break due to an undersized support tube, causing the motorcycle to fall over while parked. Going back to the 2010 model year, a center stand pivot screw can back out during normal use, allowing the stand to detach and either reduce ground clearance or contact the rear wheel and final drive. There is also a 2010-specific concern with an incorrect screw installed in the steering head assembly, which can compromise steering function.
