FORD AT9522 Recalls

The Ford AT9522 has 1 recall affecting the 1998 model year, where cracks can develop near the bolt mounting area of certain aluminum dual wheels, spread between holes, and eventually cause the wheel to separate from the vehicle while in motion. When a wheel separates at highway speed, the vehicle loses control of that corner and the detached wheel becomes a serious hazard for surrounding traffic. The affected wheels are 22.5x8.25 inch, 15-degree drop center, one-piece tubeless aluminum duals.
