The 2021 Ford F-600 SD has 5 recalls, the most serious being improperly attached front wheel hub extenders on dual-rear-wheel models that can separate from the vehicle, taking the front wheel with them.
Two recalls address the 6.7L diesel fuel system. A small void in the underhood secondary fuel filter cap can develop into a pinhole leak over time, allowing fuel to escape near potential ignition sources and raising the risk of fire. The high-pressure fuel pump can also fail due to biodiesel deposits building up on internal components, cutting drive power without warning. Prior repair attempts under an earlier campaign did not fully resolve this pump issue for some vehicles, which is why a second recall covers trucks that received that incomplete fix. On the visibility side, the rearview camera can display a blank or distorted image when reversing, reducing the driver's view of what is behind the truck.
