3 recalls across 6 model years
The Ford Odyssey transit bus has 3 recalls spanning 2007 through 2026, with the most serious affecting 2007–2010 models fitted with Ricon public use wheelchair lifts, where a missing or non-functioning restraint buckle interlock can allow a wheelchair to move during lift operation, risking injury to the occupant.
The 2026 Terra Transit and Odyssey models have a wheelchair retractor that can fail to lock, leaving a wheelchair unsecured during transit and able to shift or roll inside the vehicle. Going back to 2009–2011 production, certain vehicles were equipped with a Turtle Top branded first aid kit containing povidone iodine prep pads that may have been contaminated, posing an infection risk to anyone who used them.
