3 recalls across 2 model years
The Ford Police Interceptor has 3 recalls covering 2013 and 2017 model years, with the most serious being a fuel delivery module on 2013 vehicles that can crack and leak fuel, creating a fire risk if the fuel contacts an ignition source.
On the steering side, 2017 models have a heat shield fastener that can corrode and allow the shield to fall away from the steering gear. Without the heat shield in place, the steering gear can overheat, making the steering noticeably heavier to turn, particularly at low speeds, and raising the risk of a crash.
