The Ford Terra has 1 recall affecting the 2009 model year, where a software defect in the Ricon S-series and K-series L-model wheelchair lift can cause the platform to overrun the vehicle floor level and stop at an angle of 15 to 20 degrees, tipping a wheelchair occupant or causing a standing person to fall. When the platform stops at that angle rather than flush with the floor, the abrupt tilt can cause a wheelchair to roll off the edge or a standing passenger to lose footing during the lift cycle.
