HONDA CB500X Recalls

The Honda CB500X has 2 recalls covering the 2019-2020 model years, both involving the anti-lock brake modulator, where debris contamination or reduced brake pressure can weaken braking performance and extend stopping distances, raising the risk of a crash. The 2019-2020 ABS-equipped models can accumulate excessive grease inside the brake modulator, which traps debris in a check valve and causes brake fluid to leak. On 2020 models, a separate condition in the modulator can reduce brake pressure directly, again cutting braking effectiveness.
