2020 HONDA CB500X Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2020 Honda CB500X has two recalls, both involving the ABS modulator and reduced braking performance that can increase the risk of a crash. Both recalls trace to the same ABS modulator unit. Excess grease inside the modulator can collect debris that lodges in a check valve, causing brake fluid to leak and brake pressure to drop. The result in either case is longer stopping distances and reduced braking response at the wheel.
