HONDA CBR650R Recalls

The Honda CBR650R has 2 recalls covering 2024-2025 model years, with the most serious affecting both years: engine vibration can damage the turn signal switch wiring harness, cause an electrical short and blown fuse, and knock out turn signals, brake lights, speedometer, and horn simultaneously. A separate but related wiring issue on 2024 models involves the turn signal switch harness being routed too close to the cowl stay bracket, where contact with the bracket can wear through the wiring and disable the same group of lights including the tail light and license plate light, leaving the motorcycle effectively invisible to surrounding traffic during braking or lane changes.
