3 recalls across 1 model year
The Honda Forza (NSS300) has 3 recalls, all affecting the 2014 model year, with the most serious being a rear brake line joint that may not have been properly tightened during assembly, allowing brake fluid to leak and reducing or eliminating rear braking pressure, which extends stopping distances and can cause a crash.
The two remaining recalls both involve the fuel pump, and while they describe different internal components, both produce the same result: a swelling resin part inside the pump interferes with the impeller, causing the pump to work poorly or stop altogether. On a parked bike this prevents the engine from starting, but if it happens while riding the engine can stall and may not restart, leaving the rider without power in traffic. Both fuel pump recalls apply to the 2014 model year only.
