The 2014 Honda Forza (NSS300) has 3 recalls, the most serious being a rear brake line joint that can leak brake fluid, reducing or eliminating rear braking pressure and extending stopping distances in a way that raises the risk of a crash.
The two remaining recalls both affect the fuel pump, and prior repair attempts did not fully resolve the issue. In the first, a plastic inlet cover inside the fuel pump can swell and press against the impeller, preventing it from spinning freely. In the second, a separate plastic bracket inside the same pump can swell in a similar way, and small particles shed from it can wedge between the bracket and the impeller. In either case, the pump may stop delivering fuel properly, causing the engine to fail to start when parked or to stall without warning while riding and potentially refuse to restart.
