3 recalls across 7 model years
The Honda VT750 has 3 recalls covering 2010 through 2016 model years, with the most widespread being a bank angle sensor wiring defect on 2010-2016 models where engine vibration causes the sensor wire to chafe against a connector, cutting the sensor signal and stalling the engine while riding.
The earlier version of this issue affects 2010-2011 models specifically, where the bank angle sensor itself can be manufactured out of tolerance, producing a false reading that also stalls the engine. On 2014-2015 models, incorrectly applied sealant on the starter relay switch can cause a loss of electrical power, which can likewise stall the engine while the motorcycle is in motion.
