The Hyundai Stellar has 3 recalls, all affecting the 1985 model year, with the most serious being a muffler tail pipe that can rust through under the left rear of the vehicle and ignite the rear bumper, causing a fire. There is also a heater valve under the dashboard that can rupture while the engine is at operating temperature, spraying hot coolant onto the driver's feet and legs.
