INDIAN MOTORCYCLE FTR Recalls

The Indian Motorcycle FTR has 3 recalls, all affecting the 2019 model year, with the most serious being a coolant junction that can fail while riding, leaking hot coolant that can cause burn injuries or contact the rear tire and cause a sudden loss of traction. The 2019 model year also has an electrical issue where a 10-amp circuit breaker can fail intermittently, cutting power to the engine or the lights without warning. An unexpected engine cutout or sudden loss of lighting while riding raises the risk of a crash. There is also a software defect that can cause the brake light to flicker even when the brakes are not being applied, which can confuse other riders and drivers following behind.
