ISUZU FVR Recalls

The Isuzu FVR has 4 recalls spanning 2006 to 2022, with the most serious affecting 2022 models where an oversized fuel connector on the suction hose can leak diesel and allow air into the fuel line, creating a fire risk and causing the engine to stall while driving. The 2022 model year also has a separate electrical issue where the wiring for the Mobileye collision avoidance camera can be routed too close to dash components, causing it to overheat and melt. If this happens, the turn signals and hazard lights may stop working, removing the vehicle's ability to signal lane changes or turns to other drivers, and the collision avoidance display goes dark. Going back to 2006, certain trucks have an air brake application valve that was configured with an internal check valve set incorrectly, restricting airflow through the brake system and extending stopping distances during an emergency stop beyond what the braking standard requires.
