KAWASAKI W800 Recalls

The Kawasaki W800 has 4 recalls covering 2019–2022 model years, with the most serious being loose exhaust pipe nuts on 2020 models that can separate and fall from the motorcycle, creating a road hazard for other riders and drivers. The exhaust pipe nut issue extends to 2020–2021 model years as well, where the nuts and retaining collar can work free and drop onto the road. The horn wiring recall covers the widest range of production: on 2019–2022 models, engine vibration can crack the horn wiring harness and leave the rider with no way to sound a warning. An earlier filing identified the same horn wiring problem specifically on 2019 models, where the same vibration-related breakage renders the horn inoperable.
