4 recalls across 4 model years
The Kawasaki W800 has 4 recalls covering 2019–2022 model years, with the most serious being loose exhaust pipe nuts on 2020 models that can shed hardware onto the road, creating a hazard for other vehicles and raising the risk of a crash.
The exhaust issue extends partially into 2021 on the W800 (EJ800D trim), where the same exhaust pipe nuts and retaining collar can work loose and fall away from the motorcycle while riding. There is also a horn wiring issue across 2019–2022 models where engine vibration can break the horn harness, leaving the rider with no way to audibly warn other road users.
