LINCOLN MARK IV Recalls

The Lincoln Mark IV has 2 recalls, both affecting the 1975 model year, with the most serious being a rear suspension lower arm attachment nut that was not tightened to specification, which can allow the rear suspension to shift and cause the rear brakes to lock up and the driver to lose control. The 1975 model year also has a carburetor defect on vehicles equipped with the 460 cubic inch engine and 4350-4V carburetor, where a fuel inlet sealing plug can work loose during operation and discharge gasoline onto the engine, creating a risk of underhood fire.
