The 2015 Mazda3 has 4 recalls, the most serious being multiple fuel system defects where fuel can leak from the tank and reach an ignition source, creating a fire risk. Two of the fuel system recalls involve the fuel tank itself: a faulty inlet check valve can detach and allow fuel to drip from the tank, while a separate shut-off valve defect can let fuel migrate into the emissions system, where it may leak onto the ground or cause the engine to stall unexpectedly. A third fuel-related issue involves a defective shut-off valve that allows fuel to overflow into the charcoal canister and vent externally, again creating a potential ignition hazard. On the electronics side, the rearview camera can produce a flickering or distorted image that makes it difficult to see clearly when reversing.
