3 recalls across 1 model year
The Mercedes-Benz AMG EQE has 3 recalls, all affecting the 2023 model year, with the most serious being faulty 80-amp fuses that can fail and cause sudden loss of drive power or knock out the airbag system and instrument cluster while driving.
The 2023 AMG EQE also has a software error in the electric drivetrain that can independently cause a sudden loss of drive power. On the structural side, foam absorbers inside the roof frame on 2023 models may not be properly secured and can break loose when the side curtain airbags deploy in a crash, sending pieces into the cabin and striking occupants.
