A separate 2018-2019 recall covers the seatbelt pretensioners and the pre-crash safety system that tightens the belts before impact: both can fail to activate during a crash, leaving front occupants with less restraint protection. There is also a 2018-2019 passenger seat sensor issue where the dashboard can incorrectly show the front passenger airbag as active when it is not, meaning an occupant would have no warning that the airbag will not deploy in a crash. On 2019 models only, the passenger sun visor may carry airbag warning labels printed in a foreign language, making the child safety warnings unreadable for most occupants.
