A separate issue affects 2023 models that received a prior fuse box repair: if an incorrect fuse box was installed during that earlier service, it can cause a sudden loss of drive power or knock out critical systems including the airbags and instrument cluster. On 2023–2025 vehicles, a software fault in the pedestrian alert system can cause the car to emit an incorrect warning tone while reversing, which may not effectively alert pedestrians to the vehicle's movement.
