The Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 4MATIC has 4 recalls covering 2024 through 2026 model years, with the most serious affecting 2025-2026 vehicles where the center rear seat belt may lack the child seat protection function, leaving a child restraint inadequately locked during a crash.

Two additional recalls affect 2026 models. The rear seat belt buckle assemblies on 2026 vehicles can work loose and fail to hold an occupant securely in a crash. Separately on 2026 models, the front passenger airbag cushion fabric may have been made incorrectly, preventing the airbag from deploying as intended and reducing crash protection for the front passenger. On 2024 models, the rearview mirror and the windshield-mounted camera can detach from the glass, reducing the driver's rearward visibility and disabling lane-keeping assist and automatic emergency braking systems.
