The 2026 Mercedes-Benz GLE 350 4MATIC has 3 recalls, the most serious being a passenger airbag that may not deploy correctly in a crash, leaving the front passenger without full protection when it is needed most.
Two separate seatbelt concerns also affect this vehicle. The center rear seatbelt may be missing its child restraint locking function, meaning a child safety seat installed in that position may not stay secured in a crash and the child can move forward with far less resistance than expected. On top of that, rear seatbelt buckle assemblies on certain vehicles can be loose, so the belt may not hold an occupant firmly in place during a collision. All three recalls share the same core risk: occupants who should be protected by their restraint system may not be during a crash.
