The MV Agusta F4 has 3 recalls spanning 2010 through 2017, with the most serious affecting 2015-2017 RC and RR trims, where the Brembo front brake master cylinder can fail and eliminate front braking capability entirely.
The 2010 model year has two separate structural issues. On certain 2010 motorcycles built between February and April of that year, the air filter frame can lift out of position, letting unfiltered air bypass the filter and carry debris into the throttle body, which can interfere with throttle response. Separately, the rear subframe on 2010 models has upper mounting points that can crack and fail during normal use, destabilizing the rider and any passenger.
