The 2025 Nissan Frontier has 4 recalls, the most serious being a software fault that can cause the rearview camera display to go blank when the transmission is shifted into reverse, reducing the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle. A separate software issue causes the daytime running lights to briefly dim when the idle stop-start system cycles the engine back on. This momentary drop in light output can confuse other drivers or pedestrians nearby.
