PORSCHE PANAMERA 4S Recalls

The Porsche Panamera 4S has 3 recalls spanning 2010 to 2021, with the most serious affecting 2017-2021 models where humidity can enter the climate control system's external coolant pump, cause an electrical short circuit, and start a vehicle fire. The 2017 model year also has a steering recall where the electric power steering system can intermittently lose assist without warning, forcing the driver to apply significantly more effort to steer, particularly at low speeds. Going back to the original 2010 model year, if the front seats are moved to an extreme forward or rearward position, the seatbelt mount's locking mechanism can fail, allowing the mount to detach from its anchor when the belt is fastened or released, which raises the risk of serious injury in a crash.
