6 recalls across 7 model years
The Porsche Panamera GTS has 6 recalls covering 2013 through 2021 model years, with the most serious recent issue being a front lower trailing arm on 2021 models that was not forged correctly and can break while driving, causing sudden loss of vehicle control.
The 2021 model year also has two other recalls worth noting. Moisture can enter the external coolant pump for the climate control system, cause an electrical short, and start a fire. Separately within that year, the rear seatbelt retractors on certain vehicles may not properly secure a child restraint system, reducing protection for a child passenger in a crash.
Going back to the 2013-2016 model years, there are two recalls tied to fire and rollaway risk. An electrical short in the system can increase the risk of fire. There is also a transmission gear position issue where the vehicle may not register that it has been left out of Park, allowing it to roll away after the driver exits without applying the parking brake. Those same 2013-2016 vehicles are also subject to a headlight adjustment recall where the lights may either fail to illuminate the road adequately or create glare for oncoming drivers.
