3 recalls across 7 model years
The Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupe has 3 recalls for the 2020 model year, the most serious being a missing seat back heating element that can prevent the passenger seat occupant classification system from calibrating correctly, causing the front passenger airbag to fail to deploy in a crash.
The 2020 model also has a charging system recall: when using a 220V/240V outlet at the 100% charge setting, some home outlets cannot handle the required current, causing the outlet or charging cable to overheat and creating a fire risk. There is also a rearview camera recall affecting 2020 vehicles where the camera image may not appear when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, reducing the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle.
