3 recalls across 7 model years
The Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid Coupe has 3 recalls for the 2020 model year, the most serious being a missing seat back heating element that can throw off the passenger seat's occupant classification system, causing the front passenger airbag to fail to deploy in a crash.
A separate 2020 recall involves the compact onboard charging system: when using a 220V/240V outlet set to charge at 100%, some standard home outlets cannot handle the required current, causing the outlet or charging cable to overheat and creating a fire risk. The third recall covers the rearview camera, which can fail to display an image when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, reducing visibility behind the vehicle.
