The 2020 Porsche Cayenne E-Hybrid has 3 recalls, the most serious being a missing seat heating element that can prevent the passenger seat sensor from calibrating correctly, causing the front passenger airbag to fail to deploy in a crash.
The charging system also carries a fire risk: when using a 220V/240V outlet at the 100% charge setting, some household outlets cannot handle the required current, causing the outlet or charging cable to overheat. On the visibility side, the rearview camera can fail to display an image when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, reducing the driver's view of what is behind the vehicle.
