7 recalls across 8 model years
The Rolls-Royce Cullinan has 7 recalls covering 2019 through 2026 model years, with the most serious affecting rear seat belt and seat back integrity on 2020-2026 vehicles, where loose mounting bolts can damage the seat belt webbing or allow the rear bench backrest to shift under pressure from cargo, leaving rear occupants without adequate restraint in a crash.
The 2021 model year carries two additional seat restraint concerns. Passenger seat belt automatic locking retractors can fail to lock properly, meaning a child seat secured using the seat belt may not stay in place during a crash. Separately, the same loose-bolt condition described above also affects 2021 vehicles, where the rear seat backrest can move and loose cargo can intrude into the passenger area in a crash.
The 2019 model year has two issues. The brake lights may not reach sufficient brightness, making it harder for following drivers to recognize that the vehicle is slowing, which raises the risk of a rear-end collision. There is also a backup camera that can fail to display an image when reversing, removing rear visibility the driver would otherwise rely on when backing up.
