The Rolls-Royce Cullinan has 5 recalls spanning 2019 through 2026, with the most serious being improperly tightened seat recliner bolts on 2020-2026 vehicles where a loosened bolt can damage rear seat belt webbing or allow the seat backrest to shift under pressure from cargo, leaving a rear occupant without adequate restraint in a crash. The 2021 model year has an additional seat belt concern: the passenger seat belt assemblies can contain defective automatic locking retractors that fail to lock properly when securing a child seat, raising the risk of injury to a child in a crash. Going back to the earliest production year, 2019 models have brake lights that may not reach the required brightness level, reducing how visible the vehicle is to following drivers during braking.
