The 2021 Rolls-Royce Cullinan has 4 recalls, all centered on seatbelt and occupant restraint failures that can leave rear passengers inadequately protected in a crash.
Two related issues affect the rear seating area: mounting bolts that may not be properly tightened can loosen over time, damaging the rear seatbelt webbing or allowing the seat backrest to shift under pressure from luggage, which means neither the belt nor the seat may hold an occupant during a collision. Loose cargo pressing against an unsecured backrest adds a secondary injury risk. The other two recalls involve the front passenger seatbelt retractor, which may not function correctly in a crash, and a defective automatic locking retractor that can fail to lock the belt when securing a child seat.
