3 recalls across 4 model years
The Saturn Sky has 3 recalls covering the 2007–2010 production run, with the most serious affecting 2010 models where aftermarket replacement ignition switches can slip out of the run position, stalling the engine and disabling the airbags so they will not deploy in a crash.
The 2007–2010 model years share a recall involving the passenger seat's airbag suppression sensor, which can bend or become damaged inside the seat cushion. When that happens, the front passenger airbag may not deploy in a crash, leaving the passenger without that protection. On 2008 models, the inboard seat mounting studs may not meet strength requirements, meaning the seat and seatbelt assembly can fail to hold an occupant in a crash.
