3 recalls across 4 model years
The Saturn Sky has 3 recalls covering the 2007–2010 production run, with the most serious affecting 2010 models where aftermarket replacement ignition switches can slip out of the run position, stalling the engine and disabling the airbags so they will not deploy in a crash.
The passenger seat sensor recall covers all 2007–2010 model years: a sensor inside the front passenger seat can bend or sustain damage, causing the front passenger airbag to be suppressed and fail to deploy in a crash. On 2008 models, the inboard seat mounting studs may not meet required strength standards, meaning the seat and seatbelt assembly can give way in a crash and fail to hold the occupant in place.
