The 2010 Saturn Sky has two recalls, both involving airbag reliability: a faulty aftermarket ignition switch can cause the engine to stall and disable all airbags in a crash, leaving occupants without protection.
The second recall involves the passenger seat's occupant sensor, which can become bent or damaged inside the seat frame. If this sensor fails, the front passenger airbag may not deploy in a crash, increasing the risk of injury to that occupant. Note that the ignition switch recall applies to replacement parts sold under several aftermarket brand names, so it is relevant if the original ignition switch on your vehicle has been serviced.
