Two recalls involve fire risk from drivetrain issues. In one, transmission oil can leak from a faulty seal onto the exhaust pipe and ignite. In the other, the rear driveshaft can separate from the differential, strike the fuel tank, and cause a fuel leak that raises the risk of fire. There is also a safety equipment concern: a replacement airbag control module installed in certain vehicles is not compatible with the passenger airbag, meaning the passenger airbag may not deploy correctly in a crash.
