2014 TOYOTA FJ CRUISER Recalls — Canada & USA

The 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser has 4 recalls, the most serious being two steering concerns where a weld on the intermediate shaft connecting the steering wheel to the gearbox can fail, causing a complete loss of steering control. Recalls 2 and 3 describe the same underlying defect and are treated as one issue here. On vehicles equipped with the optional Trail Teams Ultimate Edition package, front suspension work performed at vehicle processing centers may have left bolts loose or missing, which can compromise front-end stability while driving. There is also a label recall affecting vehicles fitted with accessory wheels and tires: the tire placard may list the wrong spare tire size or incorrect cold inflation pressure, and using the wrong pressure on the spare tire can lead to tire failure on the road.
