The 1997 Toyota Previa has two recalls, both addressing the same issue: on 4WD models, the front differential can lose oil at highway speeds above 75 mph, starving its bearings and eventually seizing, which raises the risk of a crash. When the vehicle runs continuously at high highway speeds, oil leaks out through the differential's air breather plug.
