The 2024 Toyota Sequoia has 3 recalls, the most serious being a tow hitch cover on hybrid models that can detach from the rear bumper and become a road hazard for other vehicles. A software error can also prevent the rearview camera image from appearing when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, reducing visibility behind the vehicle while backing up. There is also a label recall affecting hybrid models where an incorrect maximum capacity weight value on the vehicle placard may lead to the vehicle being overloaded.
