The 2019 Toyota Tundra has 5 recalls, the most serious involving headlight wiring that can power both high and low beams at the same time, overheating the electrical connector and raising the risk of a fire. On vehicles equipped with LED headlight assemblies, a separate wiring error can cause the front turn signals to flash too dimly, making them harder for other drivers to notice. Three label recalls round out the list: the spare tire information label on some trucks lists the wrong tire size, one load capacity label double-counts the weight of all-weather floor mats and overstates the available capacity by 10 pounds, and on standard and long bed trucks with a spray-in bed liner, the load carrying capacity label may have been calculated incorrectly, which could lead to the truck being overloaded.
