The 2025 Toyota Tundra has 4 recalls, the most serious being two separate issues that can prevent the rearview camera image from displaying when the vehicle is shifted into reverse, leaving the driver with a blind spot directly behind the vehicle.
The reverse camera failures affect certain trims with the Panoramic View Monitor system as well as other configurations. There is also a separate concern with the physical reverse lights: moisture can get into the reverse light assemblies and cause them to fail, meaning the vehicle gives no visible warning to pedestrians or other drivers that it is backing up. The remaining recall involves an incorrect maximum capacity weight label, which could lead an owner to load the vehicle beyond its safe limit.
