The Triumph Trophy SE has 4 recalls covering the 2012-2013 model years, with the most serious being a fuel tank construction defect on 2012-2013 models where the tank's inner layers can separate and leak fuel, creating a fire risk and potentially stalling the engine while riding. The 2013 model year carries two additional recalls. One involves ignition switch wiring that can contact the front brake hose and sustain damage, causing the engine to cut out or the lights to go dark without warning while riding. The other is a separate fuel tank manufacturing defect specific to 2013 models where the tank itself was incorrectly formed and can leak, again raising the risk of fire near an ignition source. Rounding out the recalls, the center stand mount on 2013 models can fracture, leaving the stand without adequate support and causing a parked motorcycle to fall.
